The Cardiac Device Technologist works independently to perform various diagnostic cardiac examinations within the pacemaker clinic completing device interrogations, post-operative wound assessments and patient implant education. Assists in the delivery of treatment including intraoperative assessments and device interrogations during pacemaker implants. Other duties include establishing intravenous access, medication administration and monitoring of patients during transesophageal and dobutamine stress examinations as required.
