The Cook is responsible for food preparation for patients and special events. The Cook ensures work areas are clean and sanitary and supports daily food service operations in order to provide quality products, prepares food for patients and special events in accordance with both Nutritional Services and Health Department standards.  The Cook actively participates in data collection and monthly evaluations for department, maintains proper handling of all inventories, including proper storage, rotation, covering, labeling, and dating.    

The Registered Respiratory Therapist at Mackenzie Health plays an essential role in providing quality and patient/family centered care. The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for monitoring, assessment, providing treatment and education of cardio-respiratory and associated disorders to all areas of the hospital. The Shift Manager is responsible for the overall Hospital operation of program/services, providing ongoing support to front line staff after regular business hours. This includes the management of patient care activities, timely patient flow, appropriate resource allocation, and the management of Department specific and Hospital-wide clinical and non-clinical issues.
