Mackenzie Health is seeking a 0.5 FTE Otolaryngologist to provide services at both Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and collegial surgical team within a growing community hospital organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, comprehensive care.

 

Beyond clinical practice, Mackenzie Health offers opportunities to become involved in research through its expanding Research and Innovation Program, supporting collaboration and advancements in patient care. Additional academic and teaching opportunities will be available through the York University School of Medicine, opening in 2028 within the Vaughan Healthcare Centre Precinct, adjacent to Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.

 

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a commitment to collaborative, interdisciplinary care.

Education – Certification – Licensure

  • Independent or Provisional licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), or eligibility for licensure.
  • Successful completion of postgraduate training in Otolaryngology.
  • Fellowship certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) in Otolaryngology.
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership, or equivalent, in good standing.
