The Occupational Health and Safety Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to the Director, Occupational Health and Wellness and the Occupational Health and Wellness Department.
The incumbent will provide complex and confidential administrative support in a dynamic environment, and will function with a high degree of attention to detail, quality, accuracy and prioritization of work in a team setting. This role will focus on COVID-19 surveillance and provide support in maintaining strict adherence to Public Health guidelines and directives to ensure staff health and safety. While the Occupational Health and Safety Assistant supports individuals, the individual also supports the collective needs of the team and advances a service culture and professionalism that exemplifies Mackenzie Health’s values and guiding principles.
