The Pharmacy student will receive training and certification to conduct medication histories to gather the Best Possible Medication History (BPMH) for newly admitted patients.
*The ideal candidate must be able to work full-time hours during the summer months *
Contribute to safe, quality care by:
- Gathering and documenting best possible medication histories (BPMHs)
- Opportunity to participate in pharmacy department clinical sharing, peer teaching and learning, as well as job shadowing of clinical pharmacists.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize limitation of scope of practice
- Other duties as assigned.
What must you have?
- One year of an accredited University Pharmacy Program essential (two years preferred) and in good standing

- Proven attendance record.

Preferably, your profile also includes:
- Previous related pharmacy experience, an asset
- Previous related experience in a health care environment, an asset.
- Familiarity with EPIC® electronic medical record, an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
