The Unit Secretary for Alternate Level of Care (ALC), Patient Navigation and Discharge Planning will provide corporate and administrative support for the Mackenzie Helps Program, and Surge unit’s. The Unit Secretary provides clerical and administrative support to maintain progress and efficiency to enhance the patient services and staff experience further. The Unit Secretary works with the team to coordinate activities, scheduling, provide customer service, and ensure equipment and supplies are intact and in good condition while on surge units. The Unit Secretary supports Mackenzie Helps in data collection, and patient surveys. The Unit Secretary will respond to patient telephone inquiries and coordinates with supporting departments and external stakeholders.
