Maintenance Mechanic prioritize assigned work orders and complete mechanical repairs within the building and grounds with little or no supervision and responsible for compiling material lists to complete tasks.
What must you have?
- High School Education or equivalent required.
- familiar with plumbing, blue prints and general maintenance inside and outside.

- Able to discern relevant information to make effective judgments and decisions.
- Adheres to established standards, procedures and policies of the hospital.
- Seeks help and accepts guidance when appropriate.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
- Actively contributes and participates in hospital and external activities e.g. projects, task forces, workload measurement audits, education of students and staff.
- Proven attendance record.
- Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others.

Preferably, your profile also includes:
- Five years health care experience.
- Building Environmental Systems designation or other mechanical licenses from a recognized accredited institution
