Job Description

Nurse Educator - Chronic Kidney Disease Program

Permanent Full Time

 

The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible, in collaboration with Operations Leadership for the assessment, for the implementation, planning, evaluation and supportive application of existing and new clinical knowledge and the translation of knowledge to practice to meet targeted Clinical needs.

What must you have?
• Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN or RN (EC), in good standing
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, required.
• Member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate, required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate, required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant nursing experience including a minimum of 2 years of hemodialysis nursing experience required.

Preferably, your profile also includes:
• Member of the Canadian Nephrology Nurses and Technicians Association.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Education, preferred.

• C Neph C preferred.
