Mackenzie Health is embarking on a multi-year modernization of our human resources, finance, and supply chain services to implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP).  The ERP project is a pillar of enabling exemplary corporate services functions which provide a backbone of support to the clinical teams at Mackenzie Health.  These services play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources to enable high quality care and ensure Mackenzie Health complies with ever changing regulations. This corporate services transformation is at the forefront of the organization’s priorities to create a more agile, responsive, and efficient system. 

 

 

Reporting to the Vice President, People Services & CHRO and Vice President, Finance & CFO, the Director, ERP Implementation & Transformation will play a critical role in advancing the ERP project, with accountability for ensuring the project resources, finances, schedule, and risk are managed according to laid out plan and will use their experience and expertise in leading organizational change to lead the project. Overseeing and directing facets of ERP procurement, business systems program leadership, change management, human resources, and financial management will be under the Director’s purview. This role will work closely with the executive sponsors, steering committee, project team and stakeholders across the organization and with external partners and vendors for the purpose of supporting the work of the ERP implementation and transformation project.

 

 

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of managerial experience, demonstrate expertise in leading complex ERP projects, particularly in a unionized healthcare or acute care environment, and exhibit proficiency in managing organizational transformations, preferably within large and complex organizations, while also possessing extensive knowledge in HR, Finance, and Supply Chain program processes, systems, and practices. With exceptional problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, the candidate must have expertise in designing, building, transforming, and managing applications, coupled with extensive experience leading complex change enabled by technology.   A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, or Project Management with ERP experience, and a Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent, is required.*You may be required to work at any site of Mackenzie Health
